Together with Waterwatch, Extra-Reality is making an Augmented Reality application to improve Kenia's agriculture.
Agriculture is the primary sector of Kenia's economy. However, draught and diseases cause harvests to be less effective, which is a problem. Waterwatch and Extra-Reality strive to help this sector through our technologies.
Extra-Reality is developing an application that farmers can use to scan their crops for diseases. The app can then give advice on how to tackle the problem. This way, farmers can use technology to their advantage, and with it, yield more effective harvests. This, in turn, positively contributes to Kenia's economy.
In this manner, the solutions provided by Extra-Reality can be used all over the world. Because we strive for accessibility, most of our solutions are usable on regular smartphones, just like the ones farmers in Kenia also have access to.
